Recreation Master Plan Revitalization

The Killington Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with Vermont Integrated Architecture and the Killington Planning Commission, is advancing a comprehensive Recreation Master Plan to guide the future of our community’s recreational facilities.

Following a public meeting held on April 1, 2025—where three potential concepts were presented—community feedback was carefully reviewed and incorporated into the planning process. This input has helped refine the concepts into a single preferred plan that reflects the priorities and needs of Killington residents.

We are now moving into the next phase of the project, beginning with the development of the pool and pool house. The current Killington pool, now over 50 years old, has reached the end of its useful life and is a priority for replacement.

In addition, the Town has secured funding to explore the adaptive reuse of the former Town Hall on River Road, with the goal of transforming it into a vibrant community center. This effort will include additional opportunities for public input as the concept is developed.

Please click the link above to see the plans and the cost estimate of the pool and poolhouse. We look forward to continuing to engage the community as these important projects move forward.
