General Election Information

VERMONT GENERAL ELECTION
NOVEMBER 5, 2024
Polls OPEN:     7:00am
Polls CLOSE:    7:00pm
Killington Town Office
2706 River Road

NOTE:  The Town Clerk's Office will CLOSE at 12:00pm on Monday, November 4th to prepare for Voting.

Absentee Ballots:  The State of Vermont will begin mailing General Election Ballots September 23 - October 1, 2024 to all active and qualified Voters.   If you have not received your Ballot by October 4th, please call the Town Clerk's Office at 422-3241, x1.

Once you receive your Absentee Ballot, PLEASE remember to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS that are with your ballots. The number one reason ballots don't get counted is because the voter forgets to complete and/or sign the certificate envelope. This is easily avoided if you take the time to read the instructions carefully.  You can either mail your ballot in the enclosed self-addressed stamped envelope; drop your ballot off at the Killington Town Office during regular hours (9am-3pm, Monday-Friday); or deposit your ballot in the secure drop box to the right of the front door.

If you wish to vote in person on November 5th,  PLEASE BRING YOUR UNVOTED BALLOT THAT YOU RECEIVED IN THE MAIL WITH YOU.  YOU WILL USE THIS BALLOT TO VOTE.  IT WILL BE AN EASIER AND QUICKER PROCESS IN DOING SO.

To recap:
    1.  You will automatically receive an Absentee Ballot (Call the Town Clerk if you have not received it by October 4th)
    2.  Read the instructions
    3.  Send or drop off your ballot as soon as possible
    4.  If you wish to vote in person, bring your Ballot with you to the polls on November 5th.
