There is a lot to see and do in the Town of Killington!  We are home to two Ski Resorts--Killington and Pico and the Green Mountain National Golf Course which was voted "Vermont's #1 Public Golf Course" by Golf Digest - May 2007.

If you like to hike, both the Long Trail and the Appalachian Trail go through Killington.  The Long Trail is the oldest long distance trail in the United States.  Its 270 mile footpath follows the ridge of the Green Mountains from the Massachusetts border to the Canadian border and offers endless hiking opportunities for the day hiker, weekend overnighter, and extended backpacker.  The Appalachian Trail is a scenic 2,175 national trail which runs from Georgia to Maine.  Killington is home to some of the most scenic areas of this trail--one being Thundering Falls.  Download the article below to learn about the last relocation of the trail in New England which made these beautiful falls more accessible to the public.

Killington is located halfway between Rutland and Woodstock and there is no limit to the things you can do or see!  Here are some helpful links to help you plan your visit.
